Our season runs for 5 weeks starting in July. We present internationally known musicians, trios and quartets. Concerts are Fridays (6:00 PM) and Sundays (5 PM) at PAC; Saturdays and Mondays (5 PM) at the Cashiers Library. Highlights include Opening and Closing Galas, Special Performances and Lectures, Feast of the Festival, Picnic Concerts, Open Rehearsals, and Movies about Music.

Our goal is to provide a place where photos, books, artifacts, and other Highlands memorabilia can be brought together to preserve our history for present and future generations.The Highlands Historic Village will be open to the public on Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:.00 p.m. (April through October) or by appointment. The House-Trapier-Wright House (also known as "The Prince House"), which is the oldest private dwelling in Highlands, and the Historical Museum and Archives are located at 524 N. 4th Street, across from the funeral home. The Highlands Playhouse Board of Directors would like to thank everyone for the support and good will generated this year. We hope that we have given you a wonderful season of entertainment and that you will look to us year after year for the best in live theatre. We are ending our year with the Highlands Playhouse Antique Show featuring exhibitors from across our nation and also abroad. The Antique Show will be Friday, September 26th ~ Sunday, September 28th with a Preview Party on Thursday, September 25th. Tickets to the Preview Party are $25.00 and admission to the actual Show is $12.00. The drawing for the "Diamond Raffle" will be on Sunday, September 28th at the closing of the Antique Show. The museum, a 501(c)(3) organization, displays over 400 pieces of antique cut and engraved glass from the American Brilliant Period (1876 -1916). Cut and engraved glass from the period is available for sale. There is no admission charge. Hours: May 15 - Oct Tues, Thurs, Sat 1pm - 4pm; November Sat 1pm - 4pm
The Bascom ~ A Center for the Visual Arts

The Bascom is a non-profit art center serving the region"s visual arts needs. We provide exhibits, the Bascom Collection, artworks by 20th- and 21st-century visual artists from the southeastern United States, a lecture series, and art and craft workshops for all artists. The Bascom will now be open 7 days a week. Mon-Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12pm-5pm. Closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
