What: STMS Public Charrette Meeting
On Monday February 13th, at 5:00pm, there will be a Small Town Main Street Public Charratte at the Community Building on Poplar Street. The general public is invited to share their thoughts on what identity they fell best represents the Town of Highlands. The interactive meeting will last until 6:30pm. The public is also invited to take the nine-question survey online at http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22EBGCQY3RK. Copies of the survey will also be available at the Hudson Library and at Town Hall for those wishing to complete offline.

This one-of-a kind black light puppet show is a magical undersea adventure for children of all ages. Created by John Tartaglia, a Tony Award nominee and master puppeteer, this glow-in-the-dark musical is set in the depths of teh ocean and follows the adventures of a group of fish friends who uncover a map that leads them to discover the teasure of each other's friendship. What: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
March 2011 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Tennessee Williams, one of America's most important 2oth century playwrights. His play, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1955. This griping and intensely moving story is set in a Mississippi plantation house where the family of Big Daddy has gathered to celebrate his 65th birthday. The mood is somber despite the festivites because a number if evils poison the gaiety: greed, sins of the past, and the desperate clawing hopes for the future.
