Illustrating and writing in nature journal can help you and those with whom you work connect with nature. This workshop will cover the basic drawing techniques and ideas for setting up themes in an nature journal. China is one of the fastest growing econimies in teh world- over 8% last year. But that was considered bad news, as growth is slowing. Why is it slowing? How does it matter? What are China's leaders and policy makers planning in order to ensure growth continues? Highlands Community Leaders are taking abreak from their daily duties to spend some time in "jail" for The Highlands Playhouse to gain charitalbe donations for their release. The goal for each jailbird is the raise $500 to help support the The Playhouse. Once arrested, Jailbirds will be transported to the mock jail in Town square, where they are encouraged to make additional call to friends and business associates to raise money for their bail. Learn how to manipulate low light photography using light effects and long exposures. Class will meet in the evening to experiment with multiple technuqies, transitioning to a well-composed low light photograph. On day two the class will work together to edit images in Photoshop and learn techniques to enhance photographs. Please note participants will need to bring a tripod. $145/$160.
