Cliffside Lake: 2 covered picnic shelters that must be reserved, a bathhouse with cold showers, a lake for fishing and swimming, a gazebo and six short hiking trails. Van Hook Glade: 20 site Forest Service campground with parking spurs, fireplaces, tables and tent pads. Water hydrants and drinking water withing walking distance of each site. Flush toilets but no showers.

Highlands Fall Country Club is a private Member-owned Club located within the gated community of Highlands Falls. Highlands Falls consists of approximately 250 homesites and is located on 64W towards Cashiers, approximately 2 miles from downtown Highlands. HFCC offers a 19-hole championship golf course with greens built to USGA specifications. This beautiful mountain course is named after the natural beauty of the waterfall located on #15 green. This par 70 course offers 6,134 yards of spectacular golfing. Members also enjoy fine dining, swimming, tennis and fishing. The most recent addition to Highlands Falls Country Club is the state-of-the-art fitness center which opened its doors in April 0f 2006. Personal training, massage and various aerobics classes are part of the daily activities offered through this new service.
